For my research i watched Chaplin performed by Robert Downey Jr. which i bought before my specialist studys because obviously charlie was a legend but also Downey being my favourite actor ever also over the summer holidays reading his biography (downey that is). Also the film has a whos who of actors which is listed on the poster above, i belive from what i've watched of chaplins work Downey did a great job of acting out his life story. The thing about this film it was enjoyable to watch but also the good inside into his life which more than likely i will watch over and over again. The film came as good reference into silent movies and the feel of what and how the characteristics came about which i will emulate as best i can into my own character for specialist studies 1.
