The making of 'The Pirates! Band Of Misfits'

The making of 'The Pirates! Band of Misfits' came yesterday after having to wait 48 hours after there was no-one in to take for it,one of my favourite films with comedy from start to finish which inspires me as an animator.
 Started reading after work yesterday and its great but will tell more once fully read with a review,the making of Paranorman book was full of all sorts of insights of went on at Laika for the film.

I've also started a brief for the 'Animal Project' which will outline the guidelines as going through things found we had many unanswered questions like if the animals should talk, what the target audience should be.

Also the blog in which we have undertaken to share work and share opinions to be able to move forward has started to flow with work and should be live to the public once in the next stage production which should hopefully be before christmas.

Walt Disney's Princess and the Frog

I'd like to say a big thank-you to Disney for doing a points system, from going to the cinema to see Brave then buying something else from disney i was able to get a free copy of 'The Princess and the Frog' you could say why that title, well it was the only one i hadn't seen which was available.

The traditional style of the whole film going back to 2d with such beautiful scenes of magic which made Disney so great from the start and so appealing to children and families, the story and structure had some great messages (not to wreck it for anyone), if i had to choose one thing that stood out would be great strong story structure.
